Accomplishments:
- Added user mailboxes LCC1 & LCC2. Setup UA at Commercial Exchange building
for testing. Able to send messages to LCC1 from LCC1 but not able to send to outside.
Called ROSCC (Ryan) and told him there was a new design for Ft. Bragg. He looked in DDT
and found design posted Monday(16th). He said he would rebuild his connectors
tonight(16th) and they would be ready for tomorrow(17th). We will test again tomorrow
night. Tim Alanskas
- (PMO)worked with site and Ft. Belvoir and Ft. Huachuca during the day Monday to
resolve DSA problems. I am waiting for a report from Tim which I will then pass on to you.
Apparently they fixed SOME of the DSA problems, but we still can only see ARMY. Started
migration on servers 11 and 13. Started migration on server 12. On commercial servers we
did not install NTP as site is using "net time" to synchronize the servers.
Completed migration of servers 12 & 13.
Plans for next day:
- Migrate servers made available to us.
Concerns:
- During a routine shutdown on server 11 the unit failed to reboot. Intergraph
(Mfgr) was called. After migration (before FENs) on servers 12 and 13, some of the
(Seagate)Backup Exec services failed to start. Servers already had NT 4.0 SP5 and Exchange
SP2 installed before migration. After applying FEN 204 we had to re-apply Exchange SP2
(error message about netif.dll) and then apply FEN 239. Removed and re-installed Backup
Exec software, but some of its services still refused to start. Re-applied NT 4.0 SP5 and
now all Backup Exec services start as they should.
