Assistant Chief of Security

 

Captain Thomas P. Clark retired as a Police Lieutenant after 27 years of service to various Federal agencies in the Washington DC / Metropolitan area.  His final assignment as the Commander of the Narcotics Unit enabled him to develop vast undercover experience that was recognized by several court venues as a narcotics expert.  Captain Clark has had the distinct privilege of serving on two Federal Task Force's and numerous Presidential Protection Details.  He was the direct recipient of  the U.S. Attorneys Bar Award in 1994 for outstanding narcotics enforcement.

Captain Clarks police career included tenure in:

  • Uniformed Patrol
  • Mounted Horse Patrol
  • SWAT
  • Criminal Investigations
  • Defensive Tactics Instructor
  • United States Air Force Military Police 1971-1975

Since entering the private sector of security and law enforcement, Captain Clark has functioned and holds licenses for Private Investigator, Personal Protection Specialist and Bail Enforcement Agent.  He is certified by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice as a Private Security Services Instructor.

Tom Clark became a member of our agency in March of 2000.  He was appointed as the Area Manager for the Northern Virginia area as a Lieutenant, which was the first and only such appointment as a introductory senior officer.  In the short time Lt. Clark has been with our agency he was rapidly promoted to Captain and transferred to our corporate headquarters in Richmond, Virginia after demonstrating superb management and leadership ability.  Currently, Captain Clark directly manages the training division and a growing force of supervisors and officers that should exceed over 35 officers by the end of the year 2001.
