This Web site provides an introduction and overview of the Defense
Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Technology Integration Center
(TIC) program, program customers, staff, facility, and services.
Formerly known as the Advanced High Performance Computing Applications
(AHPCA) Center, this facility started operations on May 9, 1994. The
AHPCA was established to transfer high performance computing and
advanced network communications technology to all facets of the military
in a multi-level secure environment.
Today, the TIC continues to support the long-term objectives in
information systems technology. This facility, along with a staff of
technical, security, administrative, and facilities professionals,
supports the exercises and demonstrations of various programs. The TIC
staff provides full security administration, systems integration, and
technical support for the center's computers and networks.
