Advertising Samples

Before 2002, my exposure to advertising work was limited. When I was hired as the editor and designer of the TradeWinds Magazine, I was thrust into the advertising world. Out of an average of 25 ads, I had to design close to half. Since advertising was new to me, basically it was trial by fire. After getting a few ads under my belt, I really enjoyed representing the look and feel of my client's businesses.

Presently, I work for a large church of close to 4000 people and our ministries and events are way too numerous to count. Every week we have special events that need a custom ad for the bulletin and for handouts. This has afforded me a wide variety of subject matter as well as complete artistic license to create some very fun ads. I have many samples to choose from, but I chose to display my more recent work from the church.
